Mallard 75 Celebrations
Just recently we joined forces with the National Railway Museum in York to project the iconic art deco image of the record breaking Mallard Train which On 3 July 1938 raced down Stoke Bank at 126mph to set a new steam locomotive world speed record. That record still stands today.
To celebrate the 75th Anniversary the logo was projected onto Clifford’s Tower in York and then the Museum itself and also Durham Castle brightening up a cold February evening. Only six of the 35 A4 Locomotives built survive in the world today.
We provided the fixtures and mains distribution for the three locations and also redesigned the image to best work for the environments.
